An Israeli minister is threatening to revoke NAZA directors Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor of their citizenship. The film is about Gaza. The Israeli army is mulling legal action against them. Israel has called the documentary a blood libel.
Film workers have shown support for the directors. More than 40 groups attached their names to a statement of support. Haaretz wrote Israel is going after the filmmakers rather than investigating Gaza war crimes. The newspaper says the focus ought to be on possible army abuses, not the film.
