Jasper Philipsen won Stage 17 of the 2026 Tour de France in a fast dash to the line. It was his initial win at this year's race. The stage finished with a duel between Philipsen and Mads Pedersen. Philipsen described the ride extremely tough. The UCI defended after-hours doping tests carried out after the stage in response to issues brought up after the finish. Lidl-Trek surpassed UAE Team Emirates in the team standings. Jordan Jegat remained less visible in the general standings. EF Pro Cycling commented on the final result.
