A total celestial eclipse will cut across the UK on August 12, 2026. This will be the most striking one since 1999. Cornwall may surrender nearly total daylight. Experts say up to 90% of the star will vanish. Most areas will still get a extended dark spell. The European Space Agency has secured sites in León, Spain. Total eclipse will be visible at those sites. The UK only gets a pronounced partial sight.
