The NFL is dropping the annual Pro Bowl contest after 75 years. The league is scrapping the actual game, but top athletes will still be honored. Players will still be named as Pro Bowlers to receive their yearly recognition.
Player honors will stay in place despite the elimination of the match. However, alternates will no longer be recognized by the league. The ruling ends the 75 year history of the annual game, but leading stars will still receive their official Pro Bowl accolades each year.
