The game took place in Toronto against the Baltimore Orioles on September 11. It was by no means the mark he wanted. Okamoto smashed his 31st home run that evening. Strikeouts are hardly a selling point at the plate. Sportsnet and Yahoo Sports reported the record. The Blue Jays hosted the Orioles that night.
