Typhoon Saudel gets closest to Taiwan tomorrow. Weather agencies put out sea warnings today. The storm occupies a large area about four times the size of Zhejiang. It reaches Zhejiang and Fujian starting tonight. Ten provinces and cities have alerts for severe rainstorms. Rain will be heavy.

The typhoon has already impacted southern Japan. At least three people suffered injuries there. Power went out for more than 34,000 households.
