Michael Taaffe made his first NFL start. He left with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety picked off Kirk Cousins on the opening drive of the half. Taaffe was used at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not part of the starting safety duo. The interception arrived on the opening possession after halftime. It gave Miami possession for the opening series of the half. Kirk Cousins later wound up with his third touchdown. That put them up 24-13 on the scoreboard. Taaffe's takeaway stood as the rookie's maiden NFL interception of his career.
