The Las Vegas Aces fell in a tight contest 83-81 to the Golden State Valkyries on Oct. 9 in a WNBA semifinal, with the series far from over. Guard Jackie Young was notable for her play as she worked to help the Aces get back in the game, according to ESPN coverage.
A'ja Wilson made history during the game, surpassing Diana Taurasi's WNBA playoff scoring record and giving fans more to talk about. The Aces now are under pressure to even the series after the close loss. Both teams know the stakes heading forward.
