A federal judge turned down laws championed by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. The provisions let undocumented students pay cheaper in-state tuition at state schools. Earlier court decisions also struck down Illinois’ sanctuary laws and other Pritzker moves on immigration. The Trump administration has also been winning similar cases. No comment yet from the Illinois Attorney General on this ruling.
